The Nordic Study Abroad Community (NSAC) is a volunteer-powered organization devoted to helping individuals explore the world through education.
Every year, we host an exciting conference in Copenhagen, inviting universities from around the globe to share their insights and opportunities. We've had the privilege of welcoming esteemed institutions like Cambridge, the University of British Columbia, and the London School of Economics in the past. Our conference isn't just about listening to presentations; it's about having direct conversations with these universities and getting your questions answered.

Founded in 2011 by Jonas Thomsen Sekyere and Nicholas Bendt, NSAC was born out of their own dream to study abroad. They lacked the experience, inspiration, and information to pursue the education internationally. They started researching and found out that many others shared the same dream of studying abroad, and even found out that lots of people were staying put in the Nordic countries simply because they lacked the support and info to venture abroad. Determined to change this, they started NSAC and launched the annual conference as a beacon of hope. It's not just about showcasing universities; it's about building a community where students can connect, share their experiences, and inspire each other to chase their dreams abroad.
Today, NSAC is driven by a passionate team of individuals who all share the dream of studying abroad, and many have been through the challenges of studying abroad and want to make the journey easier for others. Learn more about our team here.
